Instagram's built-in "Save" feature only bookmarks a Reel inside the app — it doesn't download the file to your Camera Roll. This guide shows you the fastest way to save any public Instagram Reel as an MP4 directly to your iPhone using Grabfy.

Step 1 — Copy the Reel link
Open the Instagram app on your iPhone and navigate to the Reel you want to download.
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) in the bottom-right of the Reel.
- Tap Copy Link. The URL is now in your clipboard.
Step 2 — Open Grabfy in Safari
Open Safari (or Chrome, Firefox — any browser works) and go to grabfy.com.
Step 3 — Paste and download
- Tap the search bar on the Grabfy homepage.
- Tap and hold, then select Paste.
- Tap the blue Download button.
- Grabfy fetches the Reel in a few seconds and shows you the result card.

Step 4 — Save the file to your iPhone
Safari will download the MP4 to your Downloads folder. To move it to your Camera Roll:
