Instagram carousel posts can contain up to 10 photos or videos. Most tools make you save each slide one at a time — Grabfy fetches all of them in a single paste. This guide explains how, and why our approach preserves 100% of the original quality.
✓ All slides at once · No re-encoding · Original 1080px resolution
Why most tools reduce image quality
Many Instagram downloaders re-encode photos — they download the image, run it through their own compression pipeline, and serve you a degraded copy. You'll often see JPEG artifacts or reduced resolution as a result.
Grabfy works differently. We retrieve the direct CDN URL from Instagram's servers and redirect your browser straight to it. The file that arrives on your device is identical to the file Instagram stores — no middle step, no quality loss.
Step-by-step: Download a carousel
- Open Instagram and find the carousel post you want to save.
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) and select Copy Link.
- Go to grabfy.com/carousel and paste the link.
- Tap Download All. Grabfy fetches every slide.
- A download button appears for each photo. Save them individually or all at once.
What resolution will I get?
Instagram stores carousel photos at 1080×1350px (portrait) or 1080×1080px (square). That's the maximum resolution the creator's upload was stored at — and it's what you'll download.
What if the carousel contains videos?
Some carousels mix photos and short video clips. Grabfy handles both: photos download as JPG, video slides as MP4. You'll see separate download options for each slide type.
